Co-Location and Cross Connectivity

Trading Participants of Chi-X Europe are able to further reduce their already low latency trading by co-locating their trading equipment in the same facility as the Chi-X matching engine.

Trading Participants who wish to co-locate do so by contracting directly with the operator of Chi-X's facilities (Equinix) for space, power and cooling. A separate agreement is executed with Chi-X itself to facilitate Layer 3 network access to the Chi-X matching engine.
