Denzil Jenkins

Director of Regulation, Chi-X Europe Limited

Denzil Jenkins is the Director of Regulation at Chi-X Europe, responsible for the compliance, market supervision and regulatory functions. He joined Chi-X Europe in December 2008 from the Financial Services Authority (FSA), where most recently he worked on wholesale investment banking supervision special projects.

Prior to that, Denzil was responsible for the team that supervised equity exchanges and MTFs in the UK, both before and after the implementation of MiFID in November 2007. Before joining the FSA, Denzil worked in investment banking in Europe and Australia, primarily in equity capital markets and mergers & acquisitions. Denzil has an M.A in Economics from Cambridge University
