Clearing with European Multilateral Clearing Facility (EMCF)

Working with EMCF (European Multilateral Clearing Facility), Chi-X Europe offers a low cost clearing and settlement model based on existing market practices.

Trading is uncoupled from clearing and settlement and operates on an open market model.  The approach enables an efficient, maximum STP / minimum touch solution.

An interoperable solution respecting the interests and trade flows of the wholesale market participants and advocates a 'user choice' approach. 

To address the demands of  market participants, EMCF, LCH.Clearnet Ltd and SIX X-clear Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to offer choice through CCP interoperability. Please view the below fact sheet for more information:
